Meanwhile, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies have been well developed and already applied widely to quite various fields, and some new AI techniques such as “Generative AI” have been created nowadays. Under such a situation, in order to clarify how AI technologies can contribute and collaborate toward realizing universal Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in various areas such as environment, economy, industries, etc., a series of international conferences titled International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Society (AISS) will be newly launched, which brings together researchers and practitioners, both industrial and academic, developing novel outcomes of AI Technologies for Sustainable Society.
